CUNY Launches AI Journalism Labs and Nordic Partnership to Boost Newsroom Innovation

The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY has announced the creation of two new AI Journalism Labs set to open in 2026. These labs will serve as dedicated spaces for researching and developing artificial intelligence tools for journalists. In addition, CUNY is forming a partnership with the Nordic AI Journalism (NAIJ) network, marking a first-of-its-kind collaboration between a leading US journalism school and a Nordic AI media organization.
