According to a fresh EY survey, technology companies are emerging as frontrunners in deploying agentic AI—systems with autonomy and reasoning capabilities. The report notes that 90% of tech executives believe agentic AI will significantly transform their operations within five years.

Other Industries Lag Behind

While enthusiasm runs high in the tech sector, industries like consumer goods and manufacturing report lower readiness and slower adoption. EY concludes that organizational readiness, governance, and risk management remain key hurdles outside the tech world.
