While generative AI takes the lead, cybersecurity hasn’t dropped out of the spotlight. It remains a close second on the priority list, reinforcing that digital threat protection is still viewed as mission-critical. However, the fact that more companies are willing to divert funds toward AI over security highlights increasing pressure to innovate rapidly. Nearly three quarters of surveyed global organizations said they plan to increase genAI investments next year, viewing it as a competitive differentiator. With routine tasks being automated and customer experiences becoming more customized thanks to AI, the race is on to harness its power at scale. As tech leaders chase opportunities, the focus is shifting from “if” to “how fast” generative AI can be deployed.
