Pa. State Trooper Allegedly Created AI Porn Using Illicit Locker Room Images

A Pennsylvania State Police corporal has been charged with using hidden cameras to capture nude images of women in a police facility’s locker room and incorporating those images into explicit AI-generated content, according to state Attorney General Michelle Henry. The accused, 37-year-old Vincent A. Crivelli, allegedly recorded his female coworkers without consent over several months. Investigators say Crivelli later used the unauthorized images to generate synthetic pornographic material using artificial intelligence tools.

Crivelli, who was stationed at the State Police Troop K barracks in Philadelphia, reportedly abused his position of trust and violated the privacy of women officers. Court documents indicate that hundreds of images were involved, many of which were digitally manipulated. The AG described Crivelli’s behavior as “an appalling invasion of privacy and a grotesque abuse of technology.”

The incident raises new questions about the misuse of AI in surveillance and digital exploitation cases. Crivelli now faces multiple charges, including invasion of privacy, official oppression, and evidence tampering. He has been suspended without pay pending further legal proceedings.

This case underscores growing concerns about the ethical implications of AI tools in law enforcement and personal privacy.
